Fans get a chance to hear the acoustic version of "Sun & Moon" early.

Above & Beyond fans were greeted today with yet another track off the group’s new acoustic album, Above & Beyond Acoustic. Today’s release is “Sun & Moon,” which features Alex Vargas on vocals for the acoustic edition.

The original version of “Sun & Moon” appeared on the group’s hit album, Group Therapy, and featured Richard Bedford on vocals. This time around, with Vargas handling the vocals, the lyrics take on a soulful and melancholy tone that truly encapsulates the tragic love story of the song. Like every track on the album, the acoustic version of “Sun & Moon” was recorded with a 24-piece orchestra, giving the track a rich, full-bodied sound that compliments Vargas’ voice perfectly.

As part of the track’s release, Above & Beyond also released a video recording of it from one of their performance at Porchester Hall in London. The video was pulled directly from the concert film, which is set to be published by THUMP on January 24th, prior to the full album’s release.

Above & Beyond Acoustic will be officially released on January 28th. Fans can preorder the album and get the early download of “Sun & Moon,” as well as “Love is Not Enough” on iTunes, or preorder the CD on Amazon.
