12 Tours to Get Off the Couch for In 2014

Thomas Gold

The last couple years have been good to Gold. He’s keeping it rolling with a New Year tour, which currently has a limited run, but is expected to pick up more dates in the near future.

Ellie Goulding

Goulding will be traveling through the United States from March 12 to May 2 as she heads from Europe to Australia. She’ll be taking on a series of larger venues to match her newly found pop-stardom.

Destructo & Alex Metric

The UK to LA Tour unites two heavy hitters from opposite sides of the globe. They’ll have plenty of momentum as they use Holy Ship!!! to launch the ordeal.

Which tour are you looking forward to the most in 2014? Let us know in the comments below!

The year is still young, yet there are plenty of concerts already worth marking the calendar for.

A number of dance music tours have already been planned for 2014. Some of the biggest producers in the industry will be traveling the world on massive world tours. We've put together a handy list of our favorite tours of 2014. Take a look below!

Disclosure

The English brothers are making another swing around North America, just in case you missed their short bout last year. They have already taken the United States by storm in 2014, as they appeared on Late Night with Jimmy Fallon and worked in the studio with Mary J. Blige and Q-Tip

Deadmau5

One of the internet's biggest antagonists is a bit of a perfectionist, which means he’s not rushing to bring his next visual masterpiece to life. He estimates that by fall of this year he’ll have something to show; but then again, it could be next spring.

Armin van Buuren

The Armin Only – Intense tour is exactly what it’s labeled; a night of Armin with no openers. Armin said, ”Unlike today, now that it’s all based on short sets and quick highlights, it used to be all about the long sets, the musical trips. That’s what Armin Only is based on – to take the clubbers on a six-plus hour journey into music. Through the Armin Only - Intense shows, I can tell them the full story of my Intense."

Kraftwerk

There are only a few U.S. cities on Kraftwerk’s calendar, but each stop will be a blow out. Oakland, Moog Fest in Asheville, and Los Angeles will each see multiple days of their 3D live show through March and April.

Excision

Is this a tour, or a marathon? For almost four months Excision will be making the rounds with DirtyphonicsIll. Gates and 150,00 watts of dubstep. These tour bundles should probably include earplugs.

12th Planet & Protohype

The SMOG City tour spans January and February as Two FreshAntiserum and more bring a solid wall of support. The two headliners have a thirst for partying, and this is sure to be a major one.

The Glitch Mob

Throughout March, The Glitch Mob will be expanding upon their live shows with “a more hands-on approach.” Their concerts are already an experience, and this tour, in support of their upcoming Love Death Immortality, should raise the bar.

Paper Diamond

Paper Diamond will play 32 shows from January to March of this year. Loudpvck and Gents & Jawns are a few of the expected openers.

Skrillex

Dubstep’s golden-child proves he’s still on top with a short series of city “takeovers.” This flex of a tour stops for multiple days in San Francisco, Brooklyn, Amsterdam, and Barcelona.
