Kaskade and Steve Aoki to Play During Sundance Film Festival
Park City, Utah is the home to the annual Sundance Film Festival, which runs from January 16-26. Today, Park City Live announced that Kaskade, Steve Aoki, Dash Berlin, and many more will be playing throughout the city's ten-day film festival. This year's festival will include the Park City Live Concert Series and the inaugural PCL Day Lounge, an interactive dayclub and lounge, which is partnered with Billboard, Motorola, Sonos, and Creative Recreation Shoes.
"With so many parallels between music and entertainment, Sundance is the perfect place to bring the synergy to life for a targeted audience of influential tastemakers," comments Billboard president John Amato. "This is a first for Billboard, which is expanding beyond the endemic music event space and bringing live music experiences, matched with its authority and access, to major cultural events."
Park City Live is programming the festival's most prestigious lineup in nighttime music and entertainment. The initial lineup starts with O.A.R. and Matisyahu on January 16th and then moves on to Kaskade & Skylar Grey on January 17, Steve Aoki on January 19, Nervo on January 20, Dash Berlin on January 23, and Ludacris on January 25. Additional performances for the Park City Live Concert Series will be announced closer to the start of Sundance Film Festival.
The exclusive PCL Day Lounge will be the host for VIPs from January 17-19 with original experiences from Billboard, Motorola, Sonos, and more. The Billboard & Sonos Home Theatre Lounge will be home to interviews with performing artists and talent in addition to serving as a VIP space for the hottest celebrities in town.
Park City Live is one of the most sought after venues for parties and events during Sundance Film Festival, one of the most influential film festivals in the country. The inclusion of some of the dance music's biggest producers on the lineup for Park City Live is huge for the EDM community.
