On March 21st, 2014, the RECESS Music and Ideas Festival made a stop at University of the Pacific in Stockton, California. In addition to headlining the concert portion of the festival, Diplo provided students with advice on the music industry during one of the event's study halls.

While he was on campus, Diplo was surprised by a University of the Pacific string quartet playing "Bubble Butt." The song sounds completely different when played on string instruments, and it's actually pretty awesome. Diplo seemed to be pretty excited with the string quartet's performance. Check it out below!

According to their biography, "RECESS is a college music and ideas festival that brings together successful entrepreneurs, the coolest new startups, and hottest acts in music to inspire the next generation of world changing entrepreneurs." It is an awesome event that has the power to help college students achieve their entreprenurial goals.
