With EDM's crossover appeal in America, many pop bands and singers have begun to incorporate electronic elements into their material. The latest case of fusing EDM with a completely different style of music comes from Christian pop singer Crowder. A fairly new act currently touring in support of his debut album Neon Steeple, Crowder's music fuses alternative, EDM, folk, and bluegrass genres. On his Neon Steeple Tour, the Christian artist covered Avicii's "Wake Me Up" and DJ Snake & Lil Jon's "Turn Down For What" songs. His touring band, equipped with everything from a violinist to a keyboard player, helps give a unique spin on the ubiquitous singles.
