Skrillex Reveals His 10 Favorite Songs

Skrillex has released another batch of Skrillex Selects this week, and this time, he's given us ten of his favorite songs. Listen to the playlist below.

1. YOGI feat Pusha T - Burial (Skrillex & Trollphace Remix)

We kick things off with a collaborative remix from Skrillex himself and rising dubstep star Trollphace. They tackled the remix of OWSLA’s own YOGI for the track “burial”, which features the rapper Pusha T. This playlist hits the bass hard right from the start.

2. DeJ Loaf - Try Me

Next up we have the Michigan-based DeJ Loaf for the track “Try Me”. It’s got that chill electronic X hip hop vibe.

3. Slumberjack - Body Cry ft. Father Dude

For some real uniqueness and soul, give the third track “Body Cry” from Sluberjack Featuring Father Dude a listen. This is a refeshing track with great vocals and catchy hooks. This song comes from the impressive AIA Collective, Hegemon.

4. Jackal - Chinchilla (Original Mix)

LA’s very own JACKAL made this round of Skrillex Selects with his original mix, “Chinchilla”. This brainmelter track is a free download and available here: https://www.facebook.com/jackalproducer?sk=app_190322544333196

5. Moody Good - Living Off The High (2 Step Mix)

Skrillex once said he was jealous of Moody Good due to his production talent. The track "Living Off the High (2 Step Mix)" comes off the special edition vinyl of Moody Good’s debut album. Expect some Moody Good releases on OWSLA in the future!

6. Hundred Water - Down From The Rafters (Tim Hecker Remix)

The next track is from Tim Hecker. He remixed “Down From The Rafters” from one of OWSLA’s chillest groups, Hundred Waters. The track's haunting lyrics meld with the long buildup.

7. Knife Party - EDM Trend Machine

Even Skrillex can’t forget about Knife Party. Since the early release of their full album Abandon Ship, the internet's been going wild. Knife Party produced tracks from many different genres on the album, and perhaps most surprising of all was their deep house influenced track appropriately called “EDM Trend Machine.” Hear what Knife Party sounds like when they take it Vun Deeper.

8. Drake - 6 God (Prod. by Boi-1da & Syk Sense)

Drake put out a surprise release of tracks recently, and “6 God” made the cut on this round of Skrillex Selects.

9. David Heartbreak - Armaggedon ft. Chooky [EDM.com Premiere]

The next track is from another OWSLA artist, David Heartbreak. “Armaggedon” featuring Chooky is an EDM.com premiere. The track is huge, and it is a must listen for bass fans.

10. Alvin Risk - Wave

The final track comes from Alvin Risk. We haven’t heard new Alvin Risk in a while, but he recently released a free BitTorrent Bundle of new music.
