Calvin Harris Rejected By Rihanna On Upcoming Album
Anyone who was even remotely close to a radio in 2011 should be able to recognize the pop-meets-EDM hit "We Found Love" by Calvin Harris featuring Rihanna. The song received critical acclaim from the get-go, topping the Billboard Top 100 for ten consecutive weeks in a row. With a history as illustrious as this, it might seem kind of confusing why she would refuse to work with him again on a track for her upcoming album.
As reported on Digital Spy, Harris was working on a track with R&B singer Tinashe and was unable to get a call back from Rihanna's team after sending them the track. There are little details behind her refusal to work with the Scottish producer/dj, but it is safe to say that Harris is a little confused as well. Harris said, "Tinashe wrote the top line, and I did all the music. I love it. But I don’t think she was into it. So I don’t know what is going to happen to that because it’s really good."
We expect more details on the matter in the near future, but while we wait, Calvin also mentioned that Rihanna's album is going to drop soon as well, so keep your eyes out for that.
