Coming off their highly successful first ever US rendition in 2014, Mysteryland is going to be even bigger in 2015. Set to take place Memorial Day Weekend, May 22-24, 2015, in the Bethel Woods Center for Arts, the same location where the iconic Woodstock festival occurred, Mysteryland is looking to expand their festival not only in size, but also musically, culturally, and artistically.
This year, ID&T, the company that produces Mysteryland, has announced some big surprises and changes for the young festival. Putting an emphasis on New York culture and lifestyle, Mysteryland will feature collaborations with cutting-edge curators, artists, and performers who will bring a unique flavor to what is already one of the most distinctive festivals in America. Some of the collaborators include Verboten, Webster Hall, Adam Beyer’s Drumcode label for a techno spin, and Jamie Jones’ Paradise stage, which will be located in the new Holy Grounds camping grounds. The Q-dance stage will return as well. With such a diverse group of collaborators announced, Mysteryland’s lineup is sure to be stellar.
In addition to collaborators curating their stages, Mysteryland has asked Verboten to bring their Culture series, which includes deep house yoga sessions, trivia nights, and more. Placing more of an emphasis on arts and culture in addition to musical talent, Mysteryland has lived up to its billing as one of the most creative and unique festivals in the United States.
