Check Out Burning Man Through The Eyes of a Child
In 2015 Ultra Music Festival and Spring Awakening will raise their age restriction to 18+, but Burning Man, the gathering of minds in the Black Rock Desert, remains an all ages event with it’s very own area for burner-bambini, appropriately name “Kidsville.”
Centrally located on the festival grounds, Kidsville is a miniature town occupied by 200+ children. With a Mayor’s Camp, fire pit, an information kiosk for events, and trampolines, kids will have plenty to entertain themselves during the week long festival. Beware, this is not a baby sitting area in which to drop off your kids. All families must have one attendee under the age of 18 to camp within the four designated quadrants, and must accompany their children at all times while on camp grounds.
As one young patron stated, “To put it in my own words. It’s basically a place where one can find oneself.” The video leaves many wondering: what kind of parent brings their kids to Burning Man? Would you bring your kids to Burning Man? Let us know in the comments!
