Before producers like Skrillex and deadmau5 dominated electronic dance music, British producer/DJ Fatboy Slim was considered the "frontman" of the genre. His first big beat hits "Praise You" and "Rockafeller Skank" crossed over to the top charts in both the U.S. and U.K., elevating Slim from underground pioneer to dance music's mainstream liason. Despite his ubiquitous singles, Slim still carries a slightly mysterious persona.

In a new entry in Bose's "Behind The Sound" video series, Fatboy Slim opens up his studio to recreate the production process behind "Rockafeller Skank." The video highlights Slim's myriad of classic production machines and synthesizers. Slim reminisces on the beginnings of the track to when film maker Spike Jonze decided to direct the track's music video. This "Behind The Sound" entry helps give context to one of dance music's most recognizable hits and offers an intimate look inside Slim's legendary studio.
