The newest superduo to grace EDM is here. Dirtybird labelhead Claude VonStroke has teamed up with the legendary Green Velvet, and together, they are known as Get Real.

While the pairing of VonStroke and Green Velvet comes as a surprise, both hail from the Midwest and come from immersive backgrounds of house and techno. The duo is considered by most as two of the most influential figures and leaders within dance music. Get Real’s origins were like those of many other superduos in the past - a b2b set between the two good friends eventually led to the formation of a tangible concept. Green Velvet has also been a mainstay at Dirtybird events all over the world - most recently playing as his house alterego, Cajmere, during the last Dirtybird BBQ event at HARD Day of the Dead. Also, Claude VonStroke remixed Cajmere's "Percolator" four years ago.

While no official collaborations or tracks between the two legends have been announced, they will be playing three special shows in Los Angeles, Detroit, and Chicago on December 27th, 28th, and 29th respectively - perhaps as an ode to their upbringing in the Midwest, and to the origins of dance music in America.
