Steve Aoki Impersonator Trolls Stereosonic Festival

Even as EDM superstars become ubiquitious figures in mainstream media, the potential for DJ impersonators remains relativley untapped. However, a Steve Aoki lookalike by the name of Jarrad Seng may very well open the floodgates for future impersonators. Inspired by the viral New York catcalling video, Seng attended Stereosonic Festival in Australia with the goal of fooling fellow attendees into thinking he was actually the famous DJ.

Seng uploaded a video compliation of the footage, editing three hours of hilarious reactions down into a short YouTube video. His impersonation even caught the eye of the real Steve Aoki during his set.

Read his description of the video below:

"Yeah so I get mistaken for Steve Aoki a LOT. It’s been a weekly thing for the past five years… at music festivals, bars, on Instagram… it even happened on the streets of Barcelona once. So the other day when I saw that New York catcall video I wondered what would happen if I did the same thing… but as Steve. At stereosonic. Where he was headlining."
