Gareth Emery took to Facebook today to announce the upcoming birth of his first child with his wife Kat. As the two are expecting a baby girl in early March 2015, Emery made public that he would not be traveling internationally for the rest of the year.

Although U.S. and Canada shows are unaffected, Emery will not be performing any international shows throughout 2015 after the month of February. The trance star is scheduled to travel to Europe in February for an all night set in Manchester, U.K., as well as A State Of Trance in the Netherlands, and a few other festival performances.

Emery also announced that he will be taking his time off in 2015 not only to be a dedicated father and husband, but plans to use the time to finish his third album which is reportedly already half written. He also stated that 2016 would bring a proper global tour and lots of new music.

If 2016 sounds like too long of a wait, you can listen to Emery’s latest remix of José Gonzalez’s “Stay Alive” below.
