Want To Work In The EDM Business? Attend EDMbiz!

EDMbiz is one of the best networking events in dance music

EDMbiz has been one of the best networking events in dance music the past two years, and Insomniac has announced the return of event for 2014. The three-day conference will take place at The Cosmopolitan in Las Vegas from June 17 to June 19, which leads up to EDC Las Vegas.

The event brings many industry players together, much like the Winter Music Conference in Miami before Ultra Music Festival. Many producers, labels, managers, and other industry executives will take part in panels that focus on the issues facing the dance music industry. The conference is open for anyone, including fans, to attend.

If you’re a fan who is looking to make connections and possibly break into the business, then attending a networking event like EDMbiz or the Winter Music Conference could really help your chances. Just like any other business, connections are important. Showing initiative and attending a major conference shows to industry leaders that you are serious about getting involved. If you already are planning on attending EDC or Ultra, then take advantage of the full experience and attend one of these major music conferences.

Although keynote speakers and panel leaders have not been announced yet, in the past two years, EDMbiz featured industry heavyweights like Steve Aoki, Beatport CEO Matthew Adell, Kaskade, Steve Angello, Above & Beyond, and many more.

“EDMbiz is all about bringing together an eclectic mix of personalities and perspectives to create an inspiring, thought-provoking dialogue,” Insomniac founder and CEO Pasquale Rotella said in a statement. “That free-flowing exchange of ideas and experiences is what I love most about this conference. Learning from one another and staying in step with our fans is critical to the success and longevity of our culture.”

Early registration and additional details for EDMbiz are available on their website. Talent for club events and panels, as well as a more detailed schedule of events will be available soon.
