Disney has surprised the music world with their intention to release a dance music album next month. They announced the news through an Instagram video.

Armin van Buuren, Kaskade, Mat Zo, BT and Au5, Avicii, Yogi, and Shinichi Osawa highlight the stacked list of producers. Mat Zo revealed his involvement in a tweet yesterday.

While other producers are likely contributing remixes to Dconstructed, I believe BT and Au5 have contributed an original track. Why? Because their "Partysaurus Overflow" track was the song playing during Disney's Instagram video. The song was originally released in November 2012, but it looks like Disney will likely re-release it on Dconstructed. Also, it's no surprise that BT is involved with this album, as he provided the music for the entertaining Partysaurus Rex short film.

Disney is no newcomer to dance music. California Adventure, Disneyland's sister theme park in Anaheim, began playing house music at the end of 2010. The music was a part of their ElecTRONica nightly parties, which coincided with the release of the Daft Punk-scored Tron.

I'm very interested in hearing the songs on Dconstructed, as some of the most talented producers in dance music will be remixing the music I listened to as a child. I just hope they are able to do the songs justice.

The album will be released on April 22, and you can pre-order it on Amazon
