Snoop Dogg Starting EDM Crossover Project, 'LA Party Machine'

Snoop Dogg is getting ready to reveal his new Hip-Hop/EDM crossover group—LA Party Machine.

After leaving an unforgettable mark on the world as one of the original West Coast rap superstars, Snoop Dogg has dipped his feet into everything from sitcoms to animation voice acting. Snoop even had a brief two-season reality series: Snoop Dogg’s Father Hood. For a while, Snoop Dogg decided to change his name to Snoop Lion and try out the reggae scene for a while.

Last week, Snoop Dogg uploaded a video on Instagram, which previews his new EDM crossover group LA Party Machine. He is no stranger to EDM, as he has collaborated with artists like Afrojack, David Guetta, and Major Lazer. Additionally, he has spun at clubs and Electric Zoo as DJ Snoopadelic. No specifics have been announced about an album release or live debut, but this teaser has brought a lot of attention to Snoop's continued experimentation with dance music. The song is titled "Dispicable," and Snoop co-produced the track with fellow West Coast rap legend Daz Dillinger.
