Mysteryland USA's Sunday School Mini Festival Is Stacked
For the first time ever, ID&T’s Mysteryland will take place in the USA at Bethel Woods, New York. The festival grounds, which were home to the legendary Woodstock Music & Arts Festival back in 1969, will now be invaded by thousands of dancing fans traveling from all areas of the world to experience the one and only Mysteryland USA.
Mysteryland USA will take place during Memorial Day Weekend (May 24-27), with huge headliners, including Kaskade, Steve Aoki, Dillon Francis, Nicky Romero, Big Gigantic and many more. There will also be a wide variety of stages, including the Sunday School Mini Fest. Prepare for a variety of underground talent stocked on Mysteryland's fantastic lineup. Just to clarify, Sunday School doesn't take place just on Sunday. Unfamiliar with what exactly Sunday School at a music festival means? EDM.com is here to break down exactly why the three stages at Sunday School are worth checking out.
What Exactly Is Sunday School?
We like to think of Sunday School as a festival within a festival. If you’ve been to Electric Zoo, then you’ve had a taste of what goes down at an underground Sunday School stage. However, Mysteryland is kicking it up to a whole other level with three stages spread throughout the festival. During Saturday and Sunday, Mysteryland will be home to a great deal of talent at the following stages: The Big Top, Spiegeltent, and Vinyl.
As stated previously, Mysteryland is run by ID&T, who are known for creating only the highest standards for all its stages. The proof is in past festivals sponsored by ID&T such as TomorrowWorld and Tomorrowland. With past festivals like these two, it's only expected that the production for every stage at Mysteryland USA will be created with similar standards. However, the artists lined up to perform on these stages is what really makes the difference.
What’s All The Hype About?
Three stages dedicated to nothing but techno and house will make for a weekend full of discovering talented DJs/producers. Let’s look at some of the DJs/producers who will be gracing at least one of these stages during the mini-fest.
The Big Top Stage:
Sunday: The deep grooving continues with some techno from Chris Liebing and the Pryda Friends, Jeremy Olander, and Fehrplay. Even if you’ve never heard of the two, I suggest checking out Fehrplay's mix below for a taste of what Pryda's Friends can do.
The Spiegeltent Stage:
Vinyl Only Stage:
Embark on a new journey of sound at the Vinyl stage with performances on Saturday and Sunday from Carl Craig, Josh Wink, Lee Foss, Soul Clap and Victor Calderone.
