4 Unannounced Artists To Perform At Global Dance Festival 2014
Global Dance Festival has served as Colorado’s biggest and most attractive summer festival for over a decade, and its unparalleled lineup continues to draw thousands of attendees each and every year. This year, it will be the festival’s 12th annual gathering, and the small list of performers we’ve seen thus far has already exceeded our expectations. The first phase of its lineup includes headliners Zedd, Adventure Club, and Destroid, plus a handful of other tastemakers who will be rocking the three separate stages. With no date set to expect the second phase, we’ve been anxiously waiting to find out who the next group of performers will be…until now.
Last night, we received news of four more artists that are set to perform at the majestic Red Rocks Amphitheater, and we’ve been feeling dizzy just thinking it. Although it's still unclear when these artists are supposed to be announced, we do have confirmation that these acts are scheduled to perform at this year’s gathering. Thanks to our anonymous source, here are four more artists to expect at Global Dance Festival 2014!
The young house prodigy Oliver Heldens will be making his first Global Dance appearance this year, and we couldn’t be more excited. For those of you unaware of this awesome up-and-coming talent, Oliver Heldens has found his success through a number of releases, most notably his renowned single “Gecko.” The song’s irresistibly catchy bassline alone can attest to Oliver’s elite sound, and we can expect a very memorable performance from him at this year’s Global Dance Festival.
The unparalleled diversity in KDrew’s productions have placed him in a position well above his peers. From his early dubstep classic “Bullseye” to his official remix of Zedd’s “Stay The Night ft. Hayley Williams,” KDrew has been a pioneer of bass music throughout the growth of his career. His flawless ability to blend the boundaries between pop and dubstep has made him one of a kind, and we can’t wait to see what he’ll have planned for this upcoming July.
The French house phenomenon Tchami will also be making his first appearance at Global Dance Festival this year. After the success of his Promesses/Shot Caller EP on Fool’s Gold Records as well as his remixes of Martin Garrix and AlunaGeorge, Tchami has been supported by a handful of artists worldwide. His unprecedented blend of jackin’ house and deep house has created a niche for him in the EDM scene, and his innovative sound has pioneered a long road for other producers to follow.
The final leak we’ve received includes one of the biggest names yet, and we are head-over-heels excited for his upcoming performance. Prepare yourselves for a show unlike any other, as Madeon will be destroying Red Rocks this year with his critically acclaimed pop sound. Singles like “Technicolor” and “Cut The Kid” support his growing catalogue of chart-topping hits, and we will certainly be attending this prodigy’s once-in-a-lifetime performance.
