Don Diablo & Electric Family Unite To Fight Cancer
Don Diablo is undoubtedly one of the hardest working producers in the electronic music scene, and his determination for success is only outmeasured by his commitment to charity. From his collaborations with Dragonette, Gorillaz, and Iggy Pop to his numerous chart-topping singles such as “Black Mask” and “Starlight,” Don Diablo has propelled himself to the forefront of the house music scene.
On top of being an internationally successful producer, Don is also a committed volunteer and philanthropist, with a specific focus on cancer research. This cause is extremely personal to Don Diablo, as his father fought a long battle with cancer before passing away last year. Throughout this burdening struggle, Don spent as much time as he could with his father, traveling no less than five hours a week to visit him and enjoy his company. It was in this tumultuous time that Don dedicated himself to helping those in need, and his magnanimous work has gone hand-in-hand with his music career ever since.
We are proud to announce that Don Diablo and Electric Family have collaborated to create a custom Don Diablo bracelet, with all of its proceeds directly supporting the Fuck Cancer foundation. Here is what Don had to say in regards to his project with Electric Family.
The Vancouver-based charity Fuck Cancer has been very vocal in their battle against cancer, and it’s great to see these three entities unite to support such a great cause. The bracelets are now available for $13 a pop, so head on over to Electric Family’s website and grab one for yourself to support this amazing cause.
