Having released their debut EP The Rising just a few months ago, the Nashville-based group Five Knives is already preparing a 19-track remix album of their freshman EP to follow. Featuring a handful of remixers including Dave Audé, Razor & Guido, Danny Cohiba, Big Chocolate, Mike Cruz and Kennedy Jones, there is an endless amount of variety and reworking to the group's "rock-meets-EDM" sound, and today we have a special edit of their single "The Rising" that you won't find anywhere else...

EDM.com and Red Bull Records are proud to present an exclusive, free download of Dave Audé's "Proggy Club" remix of "The Rising," which will not be released with the album but solely featured via House.net. Without hindering the party-driven attitude and heavy-synth melodies of the original, Audé successfully reinterprets the single by adding a progressive, uplifting synth melody and a powerful, build-to-drop scheme present all throughout the track.

Along with this awesome revamping of the original, Audé and Red Bull Records have also provided us with an exclusive new music video to accompany the "Proggy" edit, and it adds a fantastic visualization to the remix's anthemic vibe.

On top of releasing their successful debut EP, the four-piece band has also been featured in Red Bull's 2014 Editions Remix Campaign, where grammy-nominated artist Pretty Lights reimagined their "Savages" single. Touring-wise, Five Knives has played at festivals including Miami’s Winter Music Conference, Atlanta’s Counterpoint Festival and Florida’s SunFest, along with many more dates to come. In between shows, the band has been in the studio working on their debut album, which is also due later this fall. Be sure to support this unique group's work and purchase The Rising Remixes when it drops on June 3rd!
