Figure Drops New Single & Announces Terrorvision Live Performance
Josh Gard aka Figure has pioneered a movement in dance culture unlike to any other producer today. His unprecedented combination of chilling horror film samples with mind-numbing bass sounds has donned himself the nickname "Prince of Drumstep," and his illustrious Monsters of Drumstep series can attest to his unique style in production. To accompany the announcement of Monsters 5 dropping this October, Figure has decided to premiere the first single off of the EP "Friday the 13th" exclusively through EDM.com. Sampling the cult-classic horror film "Friday the 13th," Figure's new single implements a range of face-melting bass patterns and hard-hitting drum rhythms, and the haunting vocal drops within each transition takes this production to a whole new level of "evil."
To go along with the new single, Figure has also constructed a music video that showcases a selection of clips from the legendary film and its numerous remakes. This visualization is the first taste of Figure's newest live setup Terrorvision, which he will be implementing into his many of his upcoming performances. According to the "Prince of Drumstep" himself, "Terrorvision will be an intense live show bringing my music to life in concert, on screen, using custom visuals and live performance software to control the music and the video together. It should be really exciting and bring a whole new live element to my shows."
