Listen To Blackburner's 'Young Gotti' Feat Kurupt Off Their Upcoming Album

To prepare for the release of their fifth album From Dusk To Dub dropping on June 24th, the electro/dubstep producers Blackburner and EDM.com have colloborated to premiere an exclusive pre-release of the album's trap-certified single "Young Gotti" featuring Kurupt. For those unaware of the duo's previous work, they have released numerous chart-topping singles such as their remix of "Pumped Up Kicks" and collaboration with J. Worthy on "Drop Bass Not Bombs." This time around, the group is taking a more trap-influenced approach to their productions, as their upcoming 16-track album features collaborations with heavyweight rappers such as Lil Wayne, Royce Da 5'9", Styles P, Jadakiss, Pusha T, and a handful of other featured artists.

"Young Gotti" features the hip-hop legend Kurupt, who is most notably known for his involvement with Snoop Dogg's rap group Da Dogg Pound and past role as Executive Vice President for Death Row Records. His flawless verses and relentless rhyme schemes provide the perfect topping to the Los Angeles duo's bass-heavy production. From its building horn-sounds to chest-pumping kick rhyths, "Young Gotti" is the perfect example of how hip-hop and trap music should be blended.

Looking ahead, Blackburner has planned a month-long tour to follow the release of their new album beginning on July 5th. Their upcoming album From Dusk to Dub is available for pre-order on iTunes here, and you can check out their tour dates in the flyer below.
