EDM.com is the subsidiary music blog of The EDM Network, and we are devoted to spreading dance music culture world-wide. Our mission is to provide our audience with up-to-date news, in-depth album/artist reviews, op-ed topics for discussion, and all other information deemed relevant to dance culture. Our goal is to become the cornerstone news outlet for all fans of dance music, and to support the music industry with consistent, high-quality, and purposeful content.
As a member of the EDM.com writing staff, you will be one of the most relevant voices in the dance music community. Because of this, all of the content that you create must be of the highest quality. We hold our staff to a very high standard, and you must consistently meet our expectations in order for your articles to be published.
There are numerous positions that are currently available for application. We are seeking -
Staff Writers are regarded as the “core” members of EDM.com, providing written articles on a regular basis with unwavering consistency. These types of articles include news coverage, editorials, op-ed pieces, and album/artist reviews.
Contributors are trusted writers who contribute to the voice and image of EDM.com, but are not considered members of the EDM.com staff. Contributors are expected to write same quality and style of work as the Staff Writers, but to a lesser frequency.
Campus Representatives will act as EDM.com’s “field reporters,” assisting in the growth of EDM.com’s following at colleges nationwide. Campus Representatives will be in charge of recruiting new writers, delegating street-team jobs, and representing EDM.com at their respective school.
