Moveable Feast in San Jose, California has decided to combine two of the best things in the world: Sriracha and dance music. The Electronic Sriracha Festival will be taking place at St.. James Park in San Jose on August 30th.
There isn't much information available about the festival yet, but the concept has piqued our interest. The festival's website says, "2 city blocks, 3 stages of electronic music, 4 bars, and 120 sriracha-infused dishes." It is an all ages, daytime event. The festival aims to be more relaxed than a typical EDM event, and the food component of the event will receive just as much attention as the music.
The lineup for the festival will be released on July 21st at 9am Pacific Time. San Jose-based DJ John Beaver will be curating the lineup as well as spinning. Beaver played at Coachella this year.
If you live in the Bay Area, you need to go to this festival. The Electronic Sriracha Festival is one of the best mashups we've heard of in a while. Click here to sign up for discounted tickets to the festival.
