Tomorrowland Officially Announces Its Expansion To Brazil
…And ID&T cleared up a big mystery today. As the third day of revelry at Tomorrowland winds down, ID&T disclosed incredibly exciting news via Facebook and Twitter. The decade-old festival will now be expanding from its home in Boom, Belgium, over to São Paulo, Brazil in May 2015!
This announcement follows a statement made this past February by the organizers of Tomorrowland expressing a commitment toward finding a home for the renowned festival on every continent. We reported on the expansion a few days ago, before the official announcement today. America has already reaped the benefits of the endeavor, as the mystical musical experience will once again return to Chattahoochee Hills, Georgia this September for the second edition of Tomorrowworld.
ID&T, the company also behind Sensation and Mysteryland, calls itself a “pioneering electronic music experience company” with a ‘company soul’ committed to celebrating unity, nature, talent, and life. The appreciation for nature in particular can be seen in the unique ways ID&T curates their stages to compliment the surrounding geographical characteristics of the festival space, creating a truly mystical landscape. A profound attention to detail in ensuring an aesthetically enchanting environment is arguably why ID&T has become one of the best music festival production companies in the game.
Tomorrowland Brazil will be held on May 1st-3rd in 2015, on the grounds of Itu, known as the capital of “large things.” With this in mind, it seems only fitting that such a massive festival is set to be hosted in this historic region of São Paulo. Actions toward becoming citizens of Dreamville can begin on August 23rd, when Global Journey Travel Packages become available for purchase. Pre-sale and General On-Sale tickets will be available on September 6th, with a two-hour gap between their releases. If you are committed to scoring a ticket before it’s too late (which can mean mere minutes after their official release), be sure to register for the pre-sale.
We expect that Tomorrowland Brazil is going to be just as incredible as its parent festival in Belgium or counterpart in the US. We can now look forward to experiencing Dreamville on three continents, with continued international expansion on the horizon. While celebrating the fact that this magical experience has now reached another corner of the world, my mind is onto the next mystery that lies ahead: the lineup.
