The Amsterdam Dance Event (ADE), a five-day phenomenon highlighting global electronic dance culture, is returning for its 19th edition on October 15-19. The immense and diverse convention provides a central hub for music producers, production and software brands, and world famous speakers. Hosted under one roof at Flemish Cultural Centre De Brakke Grond, the premier events include ADE Playground and ADE MusicTalks. In addition to extensive exhibitions and conferences, ADE will also host a festival, showcasing over two thousand skillful artists in the electronic music industry to perform in the top clubs and venues around Amsterdam.
The ADE Playground will feature innovative studio technology and gear workshops from leading developers of software and studio performance. Masters in cutting-edge technology, Ableton, Native Instruments, and Waves will offer a platform for hardware demonstrations, in-store promotions and studio sessions. Free to the public, other daytime activities include art galleries, film screenings, surprise musical performances and fashion exclusives.
Connecting worldwide music executives and professionals, ADE MusicTalks presents an optimum, interactive forum for aspiring individuals in the field of electronic music. Accessible with the ADE Card, the unique platform has confirmed several prominent names as guest speakers, including universally recognized German film and music composer Hans Zimmer, UK songwriter Boy George and Dutch producer Junkie XL.
