Martin Garrix To Perform On U.S. National Television During Soccer Halftime Show
Martin Garrix has already taken over Top 40 radio, and now he has his sights set on becoming a television star. On August 4, Garrix will headline the halftime show during the Guinness International Champions Cup Final. The soccer match is taking place at Sun Life Stadium in Miami, and it will be broadcast on Fox Sports 1. Life In Color is producing the halftime show.
Life In Color is known internationally for creating the world's biggest paint party. However, a paint party would be a bit too messy, so they will be using lasers, fireworks, and LED video mapping for the halftime show. They will be the first EDM brand to produce a nationally televised halftime show in North America.
Sebastian Solano, CEO and Co-Founder of Life In Color said, “This is an incredible opportunity for us to showcase the energy, creativity and music that makes Life In Color and the whole EDM community so dynamic and exciting. We’re going to give people a show like they have never seen before, and give our fans some very exciting exclusive news. We’re incredibly grateful to Sun Life Stadium and the Guinness International Champions Cup for making us part of this historic event.”
The Guinness International Champions Cup will feature some of the best soccer clubs in the world. Real Madrid, Manchester United, Manchester City, Liverpool, AC Milan, Inter Milan, AS Roma, and Olympiacos are all participating.
