Deorro Releases Vocal Edit Of 'Five Hours' Feat. DyCy!
It has been nearly seven months since Deorro first released his etheral single "Five Hours." Since then, the song has amassed over 18 million Spotify streams, 4.2 millions plays on YouTube, and became the 5th most Shazam'ed track at EDC this festival season. Today, EDM.com is proud to announce that the talented Los Angeles native has paired up with longtime PandaFunk vocalist DyCy to release a powerful new edit of his original called "Five Hours (Don't Hold Me Back)." Due for release on August 5th via ICONS, the already catchy tune has received an incredibly soothing do-over by the young vocalist that combines harmonious hymns with syncopated vocal choppings and an addictive bass line melody.
On top of this powerful and driving new collaboration, the 22 year old house prodigy has also worked with such musical heavyweights as Steve Aoki, Chuckie, Laidback Luke, Carnage, Diplo, MakJ, Tommie Sunshine, R3hab, and Alvaro, plus his impressive catalogue has already racked up more than 137,000 followers on SoundCloud with millions of plays to his name. Deorro is currently travelling throughout Europe and the U.S. for what might be his final tour, as he will be retiring from djing next year to focus on other aspects of his career and his family. Tour dates can be found on his Facebook here.
