IMF promises to kickstart a movement focusing on individuality and uniqueness, unifying the spirits of thousands of festival-goers in the crowd while featuring an array of local up-and-coming talent. “Since this is the first year we are hosting the Independence Music Festival, we wanted to give some of Orlando’s most hidden talents the opportunity to help make this event a success” says Tommy Barraza, Founder and CEO of Mansion Events. “During the event, [locals] can rub elbows with some of the biggest names in EDM while also building an even stronger fan base,” he added.
Orlando natives on the bill include Big Makk, Alex Wood, and DivClass, as well as other up-and-comers. IMF gives a bevy of local talent the chance to play alongside Excision, Paris & Simo, BT, and Skism, granting these rising artists the well-deserved exposure they need. This IMF promotional mix made by Patrick Morgan, one of the artists performing, gives festival-goers a brief taste of what’s to come.
In order to bring the fascinating subaqueous theme to life, this festival enlisted the help of Wildchild World, who previously served as the creative for other renowned electronic music festivals such as Electric Daisy Carnival and Ultra. IMF will have water slides, dancers, stilt walkers, and aerialists to really give attendees that entrancing, one-of-a-kind experience.
IMF’s ambitious design will unfold at the Firestone Music Park, an indoor and outdoor venue situated in the core of downtown Orlando. Many Floridians attend the shows held at Firestone’s club but know little about the outdoor portion of the venue. Responsible for hosting huge artists like Knife Party and festivals such as the Foundation Project, Firestone’s park emulates the best aspects of large-scale music festivals by adapting their open air advantages to a city block.
Do not miss the opportunity to both indulge in some cutting-edge music and embrace your singularities by attending what could be YOUR festival. Tickets are selling rapidly, so be sure to secure your admission to the festival and after party through IMFevents.com.
