Skrillex Working On A Music Video With K-Pop Stars G-Dragon & CL
Skrillex and Diplo have been playing "Dirty Vibe" in their Jack U sets in 2014, which is relatively shocking. The reason it's so amazing is that the song features Korean lyrics from K-Pop superstars G-Dragon and CL. It's awe-inspiring to witness tens of thousands of people at an American dance music festival going wild to a Korean song.
The collaboration between Skrillex, Diplo, G-Dragon, and CL has become an international hit following its release on Recess, but it has yet to hit its peak in popularity. We've discovered that a music video for "Dirty Vibe" is currently being produced, and it will undoubtedly make the track even more popular.
The Instagram photo calling for models wasn't evidence enough for us to publish an article announcing the video. However, YG Entertainment—G-Dragon and CL's label—confirmed yesterday that a video is in the works. We have no word on if Diplo will be in the video, but it seems Skrillex, G-Dragon, and CL will all appear.
The announcement comes on the heels of KCON, which is a massive Korean entertainment convention in Los Angeles that brought in more than 20,000 attendees over the weekend. G-Dragon performed at the convention, but CL wasn't scheduled to be at the event. Tweets from CL's fan Twitter account and Mad Decent's LIZ confirm that CL is currently in Los Angeles.
