Forbes Names The World's Highest-Paid DJs

Forbes has released their annual Electronic Cash Kings list, which compiles the world’s 13 highest-paid DJs. Over the past year, the 13 top-earning DJs/producers have collectively earned a mind-boggling $304.5 million.

Calvin Harris is EDM’s Cash King for a second year in a row, prospering at a whopping $66 million. The runner-up on the list is David Guetta at $30 million. “The rise of dance music has been astronomical in the last three years,” Harris told Forbes. “I happened to be in the right place at the right time.”

The earnings are the result of elite skill, world-class talent, and smart business decisions. This career is a lucrative business for those who are industrious and highly dedicated. Forbes' annual income evaluations come from extensive worldwide touring, club residencies, personal investments, endorsements, and merchandise and music sales. The numbers were collected from June 1, 2013 through June 1, 2014.
