Last month, we announced that Kristian Nairn, who plays Hodor in Game of Thrones, was going on a Rave of Thrones tour. Americans were distraught, as the dates were limited to Australian cities. However, we've just learned that Nairn will be coming to the United States to perform later this year. He will be playing two shows in New York City in support of New York Comic Con, and he will spin one set in Boston.
On October 10th, Nairn will DJ at BB Kings in Time Square. He is booked for another show in New York the following day, but the venue has not been announced. He will play in Boston at Prime Nightclub on October 12th.
Nairn's show at BB Kings is listed as having Zedd Stark and Trance Rayder as special guests, which are obvious EDM spins on the Game of Thrones characters Ned Stark and Mance Rayder. It'll be interesting to see if the guests are simply guest DJs dressed as the characters or if Nairn has an even bigger surprise in store.
Nairn will go on a two-week United States tour in December, but the dates have yet to be announced.
If you're interested in hearing what a Hodor-curated set will sound like, listen to Nairn's recent summer mixes below. The first mix is deep and soulful, and the second mix features big-room house and electro house.
