Burning Man Is Shut Down Until Further Notice
It might seem crazy that an event named "Burning Man," which takes place in the desert, would temporarily shut down due to rain and thunderstorms. However, this isn't the first time something like this has happened. According to the event's website, "Weather on the playa is often violent and unpredictable. Dust storms, high winds, freezing temperatures, rain – Burning Man has seen each of these at various times."
Rain and mud might bring down the mood of your typical festivalgoer, but we have a feeling that Burners have the spirit to turn this seemingly negative situation into a positive one. Maybe this could end up their most enjoyable Burn yet due to the completely different circumstances?
