Deadmau5 To Play Vs. Set With Eric Prydz At HARD Day Of The Dead
Gary Richards released the HARD Day of the Dead lineup this morning, and he has outdone himself yet again. The lineup is massive, and the biggest surprise is a deadmau5 vs. Eric Prydz set. The festival will take place in Pomona, CA at the Fairplex on November 1st & 2nd. Check out the full lineup below.
After Richards brought Jack U to HARD Summer, it looked like it would be impossible for him to book a more popular duo. However, Richards' ability to put deadmau5 and Prydz on a stage together is a very pleasant surprise. The two recently played together at an SW4 afterparty, and they created a huge buzz in March with their Pryda vs. Mau5trap show during Miami Music Week.
Aside from deadmau5 and Prydz, the HARD Day of the Dead lineup is stacked. Knife Party's headlining set on Day 1 will take place just days after the release of their upcoming album, Abandon Ship. Diplo and Pretty Lights will be providing additional star power as the other headlliners on Day 1.
Day 2 features two of dance music's biggest stars, Zedd and Calvin Harris, as headliners. They should bring out a massive group of mainstream EDM fans. Bassnectar is Day 2's other headlining act, and Southern Californians will be looking forward to hearing his new album live.
In addition to the headliners, the lineup is littered with other huge names, including Zeds Dead, RL Grime, Big Gigantic, TJR, Cashmere Cat, Pete Tong, Claude VonStroke, Tchami, and many more.
Tickets will go on sale at http://harddayofthedead.com on Thursday at 10am Pacific Time.
If you can't wait for deadmau5 and Prydz, check out the Coffee Run they went on together below. Hopefully, it can tide you over until November 1st.
