Amp Live Works With Ill-Esha & Dirt Monkey On New "Headphone Concerto" Album
The multi-talented producer and dj Amp Live has always been known to create forward-thinking compositions with the group Zion I, however his latest solo album entitled Headphone Concerto takes his sound in an entirely new direction. Compiled of 14 different tracks that unify an abundance of genres including classical, hip-hop, and EDM, the aptly named Headphone Concerto takes listeners on an incredible journey through majestic symphonies and bass-laiden hip-hop beats. Throughout the collection of forward-thinking compositions, Amp Live provides a special collaboration with the talented ill-esha, an accomplished dubstep and drum & bass producer, dj, and singer on the track "We Are Dancing."
Utilizing an attractive combination of soft synths with sub-wrecking kicks, Amp Live perfectly accentuates the soothing lyrics by ill-esha on this R&B-influenced jam.
Amp Live also recently worked alongside Dirt Monkey for a remix on one of the album's singles "Penny Nickel Dime." In true Dirt Monkey fashion, the remix rewires the track into a bass-heavy dubstep tune that perfectly supports the original's catchy vocal work.
