Diplo Producing For Madonna's Upcoming Album
Madonna has been hanging out with Diplo a lot lately, as the two have been working on songs for her new album, which is slated for a 2015 release. According to Billboard, Madonna's manager Guy Oseary told them, "She's currently in the studio with Diplo and having a lot of fun." However, Oseary did not provide an update on any specific songs.
As of three weeks ago, Diplo and his frequent collaborator Ariel Rechtshaid had been in the studio with Madonna on three occasions. Diplo said, "I think three [songs] are just like amazing, smashes. One is super weird. Late one night in the studio we got a little bit drunk and she improvised a little hook and we made a song out of it. I think it’s going to be a breakthrough if she can manage to get everything together and get it out properly."
On Wednesday night, Diplo and Skrillex played a Jack U set at famous fashion designer Jeremy Scott's New York Fashion Week After Party. Attendees witnessed Madonna having fun on stage during the set.
Madonna also took pictures with each Jack U star. Her Instagram photo with Skrillex says, "I just want to rave in the back! #sorrynotsorry #unapologeticbitch. #skrillyboy #fuckyousaying."
The caption for her photo with Diplo reads: "Another lecture from Diplo on djbooth etiquette! #sorrynotsorry #unapologeticbitch #diplotic."
Back in March, we reported that Madonna was working with Avicii. The superstar singer has included electronic dance music on her albums for years, so her collaborations with Diplo and Avicii aren't a surprise to her fans.
