Avicii Releases 'The Nights' Through FIFA Soundtrack
Earlier this week, we reported that Avicii would debut a new song on the FIFA 15 soundtrack. Well, it looks like we've gotten lucky, as the track has been uploaded to YouTube today--five days ahead of the game's announced September 23rd release date. The track is titled "The Nights," and it seems to be the complementary piece to Avicii's "The Days," which was revealed in a Ralph Lauren commercial last week.
With "The Nights," Avicii continues to produce his country and EDM mashup style of music. The polarizing sound has made him one of the highest-paid producers in the world, but a lot of dance music fans are still angry with his direction. If you're one of the fans who loves his country-infused dance music, you'll enjoy "The Nights."
The reason for the early release date might be due to EA Sports' decision to allow Xbox One EA Access subscribers to play FIFA 15 before anyone else. According to GameSpot, "Electronic Arts is giving Xbox One owners the chance to play the full version of FIFA 15 one week ahead of general release. Those who subscribe to the EA Access service can play the soccer sim now for a total of six hours. Saved data and progress will also carry over once the full game is released." We're guessing an EA Access member decided to upload the track to YouTube to make all the Avicii fans happy.
As we previously reported, Avicii is taking an indefinite break from touring and promotional activities. However, all of the new Avicii music that's been revealed recently makes it clear the producer had been working extremely hard leading up to his decision to take a break.
