Avicii Replaced By Kygo On TomorrowWorld Lineup Due To Health Issues
Earlier today, Kygo's name appeared on TomorrowWorld's online schedule in the 6:15pm-7:15pm time slot on Friday, September 26th, replacing Avicii. Last week, Avicii announced that he was taking a break from touring and that he would miss his TomorrowWorld set. After a wild week of rumors about who would replace Avicii at TomorrowWorld, the tropical house star Kygo has officially been named the replacement.
This is huge news for the Norwegian producer. Kygo started off the year relatively unknown among the dance music community. However, he's quickly become one of the most in-demand producers in the world. His remix of Ed Sheeran's "I See Fire" has 14 million plays on SoundCloud, making it one of the ten most played songs of all time on the platform.
Additionally, he signed a deal with Sony Music/Ultra at the start of this month. If you're attending TomorrowWorld, Kygo should be near the top of your must-see list.
If you aren't attending TomorrowWorld, you're still in luck. The festival recently announced its plans to live stream the event via TomorrowWorld TV, which gives you a chance to hear a live Kygo set through your computer's speakers. Check out the announcement below.
