Life in Color, the world’s largest paint party, is returning to South Florida this winter for the second time. Last May, festival announcers had big news - the small, albeit very popular festival was going to expand to two days, December 26th and December 27th. Since this festival is all about the paint, Life in Color has commissioned artist David Garibaldi to help them reveal the headliners, one day and one headliner at a time.
Today, we got a little glimpse at Garibaldi’s creative process, along with word of who the first headliner would be.
American superstar Kaskade seems to be the first of many headliners for the Life in Color festival this winter, and while we don’t quite know who else will be joining him, it’s sure to be a star-studded lineup. Last year, Life in Color featured headliners like Major Lazer, Calvin Harris, and Steve Aoki, alongside other dance music heavyweights like Headhunterz, Excision, and R3hab. Starting October 6th, each remaining headliner will be unveiled in similar fashion to today - Garibaldi will be painting each and every one, one day at a time. At the end of the festival, a silent auction will be held for all twelve paintings, with the proceeds going to charity. This is the perfect opportunity for loyal fans to give back to the community while picking up an awesome painting of their favorite DJ.
