It's always intriguing to see how an artist adapts their sound to the times, whether the change represents a new artistic direction or comes as a way to adjust to a genre's popularity. Borgore got his start producing grimey dubstep, and his label Buygore reflected the dirty, bass-driven features of sub-driven halftime beats. Ookay and Jauz joined Buygore to produce trap and dubstep respectively, but recently the trio have all shifted gears toward a more deeper sound.
All three producers are featured on the The Buygore Album set to release on January 13, along with fellow Buygore acts Riggi & Piros, Sikdope, Dotcom, Dan Farber, and BLVKSTAR. The trio will soon go on the "Buygore Show" tour, with over 25 stops confirmed across the country, and this b2b set at the Mixmag Lab in L.A. hints at very deep-oriented 2015 for the triumvirate.
