Kygo has announced on social media that he will join forces with WME talent agency. The Norwegian DJ's bookings will be overseen by Joel Zimmerman, the U.S. head of WME. Although Zimmerman bears the same name as the infamous Canadian DJ Deadmau5, he actually exhibits a separate expertise in the dance music scene that has awarded him a high profile client roster that contains Deadmau5 himself, Calvin HarrisKaskade, and Afrojack

There has been no credible mention of bad blood between Kygo and his previous booking agent, and it will be interesting to see how much further WME can take his live DJ career. After replacing Avicii as a headliner at Tomorrowworld, we can only expect that Kygo will make it on to bigger showcases in 2015 with such a large talent roster on the WME team. Make sure to look out for Kygo's debut album, which is slated to be released this year.
