Kid Cudi Once Again Unites With A-Trak and More for "Man on the Moon III"
Kid Cudi is reuniting with a stellar team of artists to begin work on the long-awaited final installment of the Man on the Moon album trilogy. His Twitter states that “it’s time [he] assembled the team,” initially citing Plain Pat, Emile Haynie, and A-Trak.
He also includes that Dot Da Genius, MGMT, and Ratatat are in the list of collaborators he plans to work with on Man on the Moon III.
A-Trak, Haynie, Plain Pat, Dot Da Genius, MGMT, Ratatat, and more contributed to Cudi’s debut album Man on the Moon: The End of Day, the first in the trilogy. The concept album is considered to be a critically acclaimed success, praised for it’s exceptional composition and unique take on a hip-hop record. It also received three Grammy nominations and has since been certified Gold.
Many of the artists Cudi mentioned, including A-Trak and Plain Pat, replied enthusiastically, and it looks like they’ve started work, according to a photo Cudi tweeted of himself and Emile Haynie in the studio.
