Australian Palace Films released the official trailer for EDEN, a fictional film portraying the career of French house duo Daft Punk. Following the independent film's debut at the Toronto International Film Festival on January 11th, the clips provide a snapshot of the peaks and valleys the producers navigated through as they climed to pop stardom.
In the Mia Hansen-Løve-directed film, Daft Punk's Thomas Bangalter and Guy-Manuel de Homem-Christo are played by French actors Vincent Lacoste and Arnaud Azoulay, respectively, who are well fitted to bring the story to life. Greta Gerwig plays the American love interest, and is best known for her roles in films such as Frances Ha, No Strings Attached and Arthur. EDEN will reach US theaters in May of 2015.
