Tomorrowland 2015 Announces The National Orchestra Of Belgium As First Artist
Electronic dance music festivals generally compose their lineups of primarily electronic acts. While this booking practice makes it easy to see capture a vibe for the weekend, it can also create a musician fatigue. Successful festival lineups not only give their attendees the expected acts, but also some surprise artists. Tomorrowland may have announced the most surprising addition to its event yet, with the first artist announcement revealing that The National Orchestra of Belgium will play the festival. The orchestra, led by Swiss conducter Stefan Blunier, will curate the Opera Stage during Sunday, July 26.
Tomorrowland is dubbing its first artist announcement as "The Symphony of Unity", and this announcement represents a huge undertaking for the Belgian festival. It can be assumed that the orchestra will play on the stage, but it will be interesting to see what other artists join them. Tomorrowland will be held in Belgium on June 24-26, 2015.
