Ex-Red Hot Chili Peppers Guitarist Announces Acid House Album

John Frusciante served as the Red Hot Chili Peppers' lead guitarist during the band's formative and peak years. After leaving the group in 2009, he announced his intention of strictly making electronic music.

Since then, Frusciante has released a number of albums and singles, and the RHCP alumnus is now preparing to debut an 8-track acid house album under the new alias Trickfinger on April 6, 2015. The self-titled album will release on the Acid Test sublabel of Absurd Records
