Moby Releases Collab With Robin Schluz, Reveals New Project

Longtime Electronic artist Moby has teamed up with Tropical producer Robin Schulz on a new track titled "Moonlit Sky." The electronic music legend has also announced a new project called Moby & The Void Pacific Choir, under which he released another new track "The Light Is Clear In My Eyes."

The new Robin Schulz collab features summery vibes and sun-soaked tones accompanied by hazy vocals and a consistent house beat along swells of oceanic white noise. Choral voices fill the mix during vocal breakdowns, giving the song a relaxed, jubilant feel.

"The Light Is Clear In My Eyes" blends guitar driven rock with electronic elements, resulting in a gothic-tinged track more suited for an indie bar than the dance floor. With a steady guitar chug, distorted acoustic drums and a whining synth screech, the new track will soothe your inner 90's lover with its rustic, rock sound. Accompanying the new song is a surreal, glitchy video that will leave you feeling a bit disoriented by the time it's over.

We are not given an explanation about the new project or what it will entail. Instead, Moby left us with the following quote:

“California is a queer place — in a way, it has turned its back on the world, and looks into the void Pacific.” D. H. Lawrence
