Justin Bieber Hints At Another Hit Song With Skrillex
Last night, in a short but telling statement, the prince of pop, Justin Bieber, tagged the king of EDM, Skrillex, in a tweet that suggests something big is about to happen.
I know what you're thinking... why are we reporting on this little tweet? Well, seeing as their hit song "Where Are Ü Now" went certified double platinum and gave Skrillex and Diplo their first Top 10 in the Billboard Hot 100, it kind of makes another impending collaborative hit a big deal.
By now, it's common knowledge that Skrillex has been working with Bieber on parts of his upcoming fourth studio album Purpose, which is slated to drop on November 13. The first single, "What Do You Mean," debuted at number one and dominated the charts in 92 countries, even without the help of Skrillex. It was Bieber's first week-long number one single on the US Hot 100.
Love him or hate him, this could be the sign of another hit to blur the lines between pop and EDM and make the dance music movement bigger than anyone ever imagined.
I'm a storyteller at heart, and music makes my world go round.
