Mau5trap signee Attlas broke the silence today, releasing an unannounced remix of "Ramble On" by famed rock band Led Zeppelin. Described by the producer himself as his "homage to the greatest band that ever lived," the new remix is a tribute to the band enigmatic mau5trap artist has often cited as his biggest influence.

Attlas subverts the bluesy rock sound of the original song, crafting a mellowed-out, downtempo rendition of "Ramble On." Robert Plant's distinctive voice is still placed centerfold in the mix, alongside dreamy arpeggiated synthesizers, echoey ambiance and minimal percussion.

Much of the track is free of drums altogether, focusing on space and mood. It doesn't sound as if it was necessarily intended for the dance floor, but it's a take on "Ramble On" that is worthy of a listen.
