Justin Bieber Drops 'Sorry' With Skrillex & Blood Ahead Of Release [VIDEO]
Justin Bieber just dropped a dance video to promote his new collab with Skrillex and LA-based producer Blood. The new single, entitled "Sorry," is releasing tonight at 12am EST and is the latest preview of Bieber's upcoming album Purpose, following the previously released single "What Do You Mean?" The new single was previewed earlier this week with help from First Lady Michelle Obama.
Stylistically, "Sorry" is consistent with "What Do You Mean?", opening with pitch shifted vocals and a catchy piano progression, before the Canadian singer's voice enters the mix alongside upbeat drums, hand percussion and synthesized horns that give it a moombahton sound.
While not a full on attempt at tropical like Bieber's last single, "Sorry" plays with island vibes as Skrillex shows off his lighter side, crafting clean and poppy grooves and uplifting melodies.
It's another release that sees the world famous singer reinventing his musical image and embracing dance music.
Listen to "Sorry" below, and then get your own copy tonight at 12am EST when you pre-order the album Purpose (due out November 13) here.
