Halloween Fest Forced To Cancel First Day Due To Threatening Weather
Houston based Halloween festival Something Wicked has been forced to cancel the inaugural day of their 2015 event in the interest of public safety, due to threatening weather conditions that have moved into Texas. The festival's organizers are working in close contact with the National Weather Service, who has advised them to cancel the festival's opening day.

The organizers have urged fans not to travel to the venue Sam Houston Race Park, and stated that information regarding refunds will be issued October 26 via email and social media.
It's unclear at this time if weather conditions will clear up in time for day two, and festival goers should be advised to stay tuned for more information regarding the second day of the event in case of cancellation.
